Fantastic celebratory meal! Food was exquisite. Service, compliments of Massimo, was the best we've had in Miami. Felt that we were in Italy. We can't wait to return.

Ambiance is nice , service very nice as well, food is really great , octopus and baby artichoke salad really delicious . Desserts super impressive , pistachio gelato and tiramisu made at the table are a must! We ordered 4 pastas , the spaghetti a le vongole was amazing , so was the fresh truffle pastas , the missing star goes to to pesto and guanciale pasta, really bitter and not tasteful. That was the only negative ...

To be completely honest, I came to Forte Dei Marmi with low expectations thinking it would be just another money grab Italian restaurant in South Beach. I am so happy that I was totally off! The staff were really friendly and the inside is very intimate. I ordered the rigatoni bolognese and it was great - really flavorful. Also, do not skip the pistachio ice cream. In a perfect world, I could have eaten the entire portion by myself. My only complaint was that the doors were open to the outside so it was really muggy/humid indoors. Really great place for a special occasion!

This was the PERFECT date night spot! The vibes here are romantic and intimate, we stopped in for dinner so the candles and flowers at each table really set the mood. Service wise this was a 10/10 experience! Our wait-staff was on top of every detail and we were not left needing a thing at any point. The food was DELICIOUS! The truffle pasta is a must try and for all the tiramisu lovers you have to get the table side tiramisu! I will 100% be coming again because it was so amazing!

You will pay Miami Beach prices but the restaurant is good, and exceptional depending on what you order. Their bread, salads, pasta, exceptional. The fish, at least the Branzino we tried, not so great. Service excellent. We arrived after walking almost five miles on the hot and humid boardwalk from our hotel, so I was in shorts. The hostess informed us that shorts were not allowed per their dress code, but made an exception. We had the octopus plancha appetizer, mango and avocado "Forte de MArmi" salad, both excellent. The octopus portion was quite large. She then had a pasta dish (Truffle cacao and pepe) with shaved truffles, very rich, excellent, and nice presentation as served from a carved bowl table side. Unfortunately my Branzino was almost on the cusp of fishy and I would have sent it back, but just ate it anyway partly because the manager had taken the time to talk to us quite a while and given us personalized service so I overlooked the deficiency. The fish was over salted too. For dessert we had the pan cotta, light and very good. Note, 20% service charge is added automatically. In all a pleasant experience.

Can't say enough positive things about this high class, high end Italian oasis in Miami Beach. Forget dei marmi is known for 3 things: 1. Truffle cacio e Pepe 2. Pistachio ice cream/gelato 3. Incredibly long waits Love this spot but can't give 5 stars due to the limited menu (vegan/vegetarian options were few) and the 40 minute wait we had after our reservations start time. Will definitely return to dine among celebrities and go upstairs to Sopra for a drink! Also- the chairs are super uncomfortable ???

Visited on a rainy day with a friend for a cute bridesmaid proposal dinner. Staff is a bit on the unbothered side (unless you are a 'member' whatever that means) so prepare for a wait even if you have a reservation. Ended up waiting at the bar for almost an hour in heels with no bar stool. Once we were seated the service was good and all the food was incredible. The truffle cacio de Pepe is unbelievable and the giant pistachio ice cream was magical (definitely way too much for 2 people so do that with a group.) Fortunately, the food quality is worth the headache so even if the hostess body slams me at the door, I will be back. Definitely worth the hype.
